Hard Keys

Use

Use the 4 pop-up menus to set which calculator is launched with each hard key/application button. If <None> is selected then the button will function normally - as if no Electrist calculator were mapped to it.

The Find selection determines how the Find Silk-Key key behaves

The U/D selection determines how the up and down keys behave

The L/R selection determines how the left and right keys behave NOTE: This option is only available when the software is running on a device equipped with a 5-way navigator

The Decimal Places selection determines how many decimal places are displayed.
This has no effect at all on the internal calculations - all values are stored and manipulated as 32-bit precision floating point values regardless of the number of decimal places you choose to display.

If a hard key is pressed while the calculator it is mapped to is open, it will switch back to the previously opened calculator (exactly like using the Prev Calc menu item [shortcut '1']). Thus, you can 'bounce' back and forth between two different calculators when need be.
