Select the type of circuit that you want to calculate by using the "Related Formulas" menu button detailed above, then write in the resistance (R),
inductive reactance (XL), and capacitive reactance (XC) (or current if calculating "Impedance Current") scaling them with the Scale Pop-Up Menus
to their right as necessary.
When all values are entered tap the Calc button to display the impedance (Z) in the field at the top of the form.
