Use
   Use the menus described above to select the type of circuit and select the value you wish to calculate by tapping the box to its right.

(Hint: While it is probably a good practise to always make these your first steps when using this form, it can be done at any time - if you forget to select before entering values into the fields you won't have to clear the form and start all over. Electrist will recalculate using the existing values anytime you change the Display setting.)

   Write in the two unselected parameters:

• X_C or X_L: Reactance, capacitive (X_C) or inductive (X_L) depending on the Related Formulas setting
• f: Frequency
• C or L: Capacitance (C) or inductance (L) depending on the Related Formulas setting

   When the values are entered into both fields tap the Calc button.

(Hint: Remember that you can use the scale-lock buttons to force the inductance value to display as microHenries and/or the capacitance value to display as microFarads.)
