Use
   Use the menus described above to select the type of circuit and select the field to calculate by clicking the box to its right.

(Hint: While it is probably a good practise to always make these your first steps when using this form, it can be done at any time - if you forget to select before entering values into the fields you won't have to clear the form and start all over. Electrist will recalculate using the existing values anytime you change the Display setting.)

   Write the appropriate values into the two unselected fields:

• T: Time constant
• R: Resistance
• C or L: Capacitance (C) or inductance (L) depending on the Display menu settings

   When the values are entered into both fields tap the Calc button to display the calculated value

(Hint: Remember that you can use the scale-lock buttons to force the capacitance value to display as microFarads.)
