"I purchased the software - how do I get my registration key?"
You should receive an email that includes instructions on getting your registration key within minutes of your purchase. If you purchased the software through the Red Binary website this email will be quite detailed. If you purchased it through another vendor such as Handango or PalmGear it will not be quite as detailed, but will still include everything that you need to get your software unlocked.
"I did not receive the email with instructions when I made my purchase!"
All emails will be sent to the email address that was used to make the purchase. The email will not be able to get through if you used an address that is invalid or uses a spam filter that is not configured to automatically accept email from redbinary.com (and the vendor you made the purchase through, if applicable) without additional responses such as graphic password entry.
"I got the email with the instructions on how to get my registration key but I did't get a copy of the software! Where do I get the software?"
The trial version of the software that is available for download from the Red Binary website is the only version that you will need. If you already have the latest version installed on your device then you are good to go. This trial version is converted into the fully functional, unlocked version by entering the proper registration key.
"I got my registration key but it didn't unlock the software! What do I do?"
Recheck the registration key. If you entered it even slightly different than it appears in the software running on your device it will not work. The most common mistake is to enter a letter "O" where there is a number "0" or enter the lowercase letter "L" where it is actually a number "1". There will NEVER be the letters "O" or "L", neither upper nor lowercase, in either the Product ID or Registration Key - so if you EVER enter these characters it is a mistake. If this was not the case, and you entered the key correctly, you should immediately contact Red Binary software.
"Will you inform me when this wonderful software is updated or a new version is released?"
When you make a purchase you will automatically receive notifications when an update is released. If you wish to be removed from the notification list just reply to the email and change the subject line to read "UNSUBSCRIBE". These lists are only used to pass on information about new beta and final release versions of the software so they are extremely low volume - generally generating less than two emails per month.
"Why didn't you reply to the question I asked using your online contact form?"
I reply to every message that I can - which so far has been all of them except the ones that did not include an email address for me to reply to. If you want a response you must be sure to include a way for me to get back in contact with you.
"Is this software available for Windows handhelds/desktops, Symbian, Blackberry, or my model of mobile phone?"
Not at the present time. Currently all Red Binary software is available only for Palm OS devices, though I hope to make all of my software titles available for as many platforms as possible ASAP. For each platform that I release software for I have to purchase development software and at least one device to personally try out and debug the software. This is a pretty major investment so I need to be confident that I could recoup these costs, at a very minimum, in a reasonable amount of time.
"Can you add this feature or formula?"
Maybe! Probably, even! Many of the formulas and features that you enjoy are the direct result of requests from users! All you need to do is ask and I will seriously consider it!
